The bell keeps time
Every minute it tolls, and every toll calls a stronger wave. Elites at the fifth and fifteenth. At the tenth and the twentieth, the Tolling Ones — things the bell named directly.
A grim survivors-like · in development
Vivos voco. Mortuos plango. Fulgura frango.
I call the living. I mourn the dead. I break the storm.
You are the last bellkeeper of a plague-dead parish. Each night you climb the tower and ring the passing bell for the dead, as the office demands. But the bell has begun calling something back. Now every night is a vigil: survive from the first toll until the matins bell at dawn — twenty minutes of dark, and everything in it wants your candle out.
The vigil
Every minute it tolls, and every toll calls a stronger wave. Elites at the fifth and fifteenth. At the tenth and the twentieth, the Tolling Ones — things the bell named directly.
Eight weapons drawn from grave-rites and sexton's tools — the censer, the salt ring, coffin nails, the knell itself. Pair a rite with its matching relic and it evolves into something the parish never sanctioned.
Health is the Wick, and damage gutters it. The world beyond your small circle of light is dim and moving. Souls of the slain drift as vigil lights — gather them, lay them to rest, grow stronger.
Fall, and the night still pays: ash swept from the churchyard buys permanent restoration in the Reliquary — new keepers, new strength, a slightly longer fuse for the next vigil.
A single floating joystick. Weapons fire on their own. Twenty minutes, one hand, total attention. Runs are short; nights are long.
Survive to dawn and the bell falls silent — but you may keep walking. The endless dark compounds without mercy. Every endless run ends. How far is up to you.
The congregation
The dead of the parish do not rise all at once. The night changes — each toll brings a new silhouette, and the early dead fade to chaff as worse things answer.
Our promise
On Steam, KNELL is a complete game for $3.99 — everything included, nothing sold inside. On mobile, it's free to download, and the free game is a real one — every weapon, every relic, every enemy, a full boss, a proper ending. A single one-time unlock — Restore the Parish, the same $3.99 — opens the full night: the final boss, all three keepers, and the Reliquary uncapped.

The Steam page is being prepared. Until then, write to us and we'll ring when the bell is ready.
